Nahum Stutchkoff

Amanda (Miryem-Khaye) Seigel’s article, “Nahum Stutchkoff’s Yiddish Play and Radio Scripts in the Dorot Jewish Division, New York Public Library”, was published in Judaica Librarianship, volume 16, 2011. The article provides an overview of Stutchkoff’s prolific career as a Yiddish actor, director, playwright, linguist and radio personality, utilizing the extensive archive of his works in the Dorot Jewish Division of the New York Public Library. In June 2015, the Forverts created a video about Nahum Stutchkoff, featuring “dramatic reenactments” of some of his commercials, with Leyzer Burko, Boris Sandler, and Miryem-Khaye Seigel. View it here.

In May 2014, the Forverts published “Mame-loshn“, a volumes of Nahum Stutchkoff’s selected linguistic radio programs, edited by Leyzer Burko, with a bibliography compiled in cooperation with Miryem-Khaye Seigel and an introduction by Dr. Chava Lapin.
